RainI see the faces of friends,
Hear their laughter and glee
Yet, for some reason
I stand in the shadows,
And silently bleed.
Surrounded by my sister and parents,
I sit at the table at home,
They think I'm happy,
But they only see what I've shown.
I tighten the jacket around me,
Trying not to show,
The fact that I've hurt myself,
From having bottled up it ole.
Fear, regret, frustration,
Anger, sadness, and pain,
I really try,
To remain sane.
This is just a phase,
Try and stay strong,
For some reason,
I find it all wrong.
The life of a teenager is not simple,
Adults say they know,
But times have changed,
I won't let it show.
Mother thinks it's bullies,
Father can't decide,
Sister tries to get it out,
But I won't tell.
This secret is mine.
All the lies,
My demons inside,
The temptation and pain,
Sometimes it's better off to cry
So let it rain.
ConfidenceThe world seems so dark at times,
You can't even hear the singing birds' chimes.
Light seems to fade and leave the Earth,
And no fires are lit in the hearth.
Flowers never show their bliss,
You don't even feel the wind's gentle kiss.
Cold, cruel Darkness covers your glee,
And knocks you down to your knee.
Darkness is a tyrant, unforgiving and cruel,
But fear not, you will mend this with needle and spool.
Shed a new light on the world, for even tyranny must come to an end,
Make the rivers once more flow and bend.
Make the flowers bloom once more,
And send Darkness away, never to come back at your door.
The birds will sing and the wind will kiss,
And once more you and the world will be filled with bliss.
The world seems do dark at times,
You can't even hear the singing birds' chimes.
But if you believe in yourself and stand tall,
All your troubles, and darkness, will fall.
Consequenses of Love and War:7 The pack was in shock, the elders mostly. They had never seen anyhting like it when it came to two males fighting for the position of alpha. As for Viron, he was in shock at the fact that Suren would not stand up for the position, let alone say that he wasn't ready.
A red and black female padded up to Viron, who was mindlessly starring at Suren, ears laid back. Nuzzling under his shaggy chin, she looked up at him with big golden eyes. "It's to soon." Shutting his eyes, Viron sighed. "You're right, Ali. You're right." Looking at his bleeding and bruised brother, Viron felt sick with guilt. He never ment to hurt his brother, he was just older and felt things earlier, but Suren and Ali were right...again. Not even two days after his Dad's death, and he's trying to become leader of the pack. Slowely padding over to help Katrena with getting his weakened brother to the healer's den, Viron felt the eyes of the pack melting into him.
Consequenses of Love an War:6 The pain went unnoticed. The only thing that Suren was focused on was the fight. Writhing and thrashing around, Viron and Suren fought with ferocity and a strange hate and bloodlust. 'Don't awknoledge the pain,' Suren's scholor's words rang out as Viron dug his razor sharp teeth into Suren's shoulder, barely missing a vein in his neck. 'Only focus on your opponent.' Pinning down his brother, Viron placed himself over his younger sibling, ears pinned back and teeth still bared.
"I'm only gonna tell you one more time Suren," Viron growled, his brother pinned underneath him. "Step. Down. Or else." Still writhing, Suren finally got out from underneath his brother as he attempted to nip his ear. "Viron, I know you want to become alpha, and so do I. But if you don't name your price, I'm gonna have to tear your sorry ass apart!" Leaping toward Suren, Viron then pushed his burly paw against Suren's scarred and now slowly bleeding chest, a trickle of blood flowing
Consiquenses of Love and War:5 "SHUT YOUR MOUTH YOU STUPID-" "KATRENA!" Suren snapped. Glaring at him, the female huffed with aggravation as the large male stared at her menacingly. Sam was now slowly edging back toward a tall pine, claws out and his fur standing on end. Suren could tell things weren't going to go well with the two of them around one another. After all, he still wanted information from the annoying feline, and with the way things were going between them, he knew he had to ask some other time when he had the chance. Turning toward Sam, Suren motioned for him to come toward him, but the edgy feline stood his ground. "Alright Sam, I still want information. If you're willing to grant it to me, meet me by the brook next to the grey owl's tree tomorrow at moon rise. OK?"
Still eyeing Katrena, Sam nodded his tiny head at the ebony canine. "I will meet YOU there. No one else." Sam said. Katrena growled at the cat as she and Suren slinked back into the woods.
